WHO WE ARE

Glory Coast Fellowship is a nondenominational church in Melbourne, FL, dedicated to loving God and loving people. Our vision is to:

- Worship and pray, ministering to the Lord with heartfelt devotion.

We are called to glorify God and make Him known in Brevard County and beyond.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

At Glory Coast Fellowship, we are anchored in the truth of God’s Word and devoted to exalting Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, and service. Below is what we believe:

THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is the supreme authority for faith and conduct, revealing God’s truth to humanity (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

GOD

We believe in one true God, eternally self-existent as the “I AM,” the Creator of all things, and the Redeemer of mankind. He exists in perfect unity as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, embodying love and relationship (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:19).

JESUS CHRIST

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and promised return are the foundation of our faith (Matthew 1:23; Hebrews 4:15; Acts 10:38; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; Philippians 2:9-11).

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. He is co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and Son. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, and empowers the Church as our Comforter, Counselor, and Advocate. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, distinct from salvation, endues believers with power for witness and service, accompanied by spiritual gifts. We believe in ongoing fillings of the Spirit to equip us for ministry and worship (John 16:8; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 5:18).

HUMANITY & SALVATION

We believe humanity was created in God’s image but fell into sin through voluntary disobedience. Our only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation comes by repentance and faith in Christ, through which we are justified by grace, regenerated by the Holy Spirit, and made heirs of eternal life. The inward evidence of salvation is the witness of the Spirit, and the outward evidence is a life of holiness and love (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 5:12; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 8:16; Titus 2:11-12).

WORSHIP

We believe worship is the heart of our response to God’s greatness and love. Through heartfelt praise, prayer, and surrender, we minister to the Lord and draw near to His presence, seeking to glorify Him in spirit and truth (John 4:23-24; Psalm 29:2).

ORDINANCES

We believe in two ordinances instituted by Christ:

- Water Baptism: By full immersion, baptism identifies believers with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4).

- Communion: The Lord’s Supper, taken by believers, remembers Christ’s broken body and shed blood, proclaiming His death until He returns (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

SANTIFICATION

We believe sanctification is a progressive work of grace, beginning at salvation and continuing until Christ’s return. Through the Holy Spirit, believers are called to live holy lives, reflecting God’s character (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 2 Corinthians 3:18).

THE CHURCH

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and commissioned to fulfill the Great Commission. Every believer is a vital part of this body, called to worship God, edify one another, and share the gospel (Ephesians 1:22-23; Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 4:11-16).

HEALING

We believe divine healing is provided through Christ’s atonement, available to all believers through faith (Isaiah 53:5; James 5:14-16).

THE RETURN OF CHRIST

We believe in the visible and literal return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead in Christ, and the translation of living believers. This is the blessed hope of the Church (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52).

ETERNAL DESTINY

We believe in the final judgment, where those not found in the Book of Life will face eternal separation from God. Believers, however, await a new heaven and new earth where righteousness dwells (Revelation 20:11-15; 2 Peter 3:13).

THE NICENE CREED

We affirm the historic Nicene Creed as a summary of our faith:

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us and for our salvation, He came down from heaven, by the power of the Holy Spirit became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake, He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered death and was buried. On the third day, He rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father. With the Father and the Son, He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.
